Movies on a Big Screen is a microcinema/ongoing film fest that started in Sept 2006, is primarily volunteer-based and has a weekly film screening series of independent films and documentaries.
We have shown first run films, premieres and sneak previews of things that would have not made it to Sacramento. We also run older, foreign or more obscure films and on occasion host late-night audience participation events. We do digital projection onto a large screen (not a big screen TV).
Many screenings have had filmmakers and guest speakers in attendance for Q&A.
